These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Credfex website and Services. Credfex is built by Profiden Technologies Private Limited ("Credfex", "we", "us"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms. Enterprise customers may also be subject to a separate written agreement, which prevails in the event of conflict.
1. The Services
Credfex operates an employment credential exchange comprising the Issuer Console for employers, the Credential Wallet for professionals, the Verification Hub for verifiers and the Exchange API. We may add, change or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Organisational accounts may only be created by persons authorised to bind the organisation.
- Verifier accounts are subject to identity and business verification before activation.
3. Employer (issuer) obligations
- You warrant that you are entitled to issue the employment data you submit and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- You will promptly correct or revoke credentials that you become aware are inaccurate.
- You will comply with applicable data-protection law, including providing any required notice to the individuals concerned.
4. Verifier obligations
- You will request verification only for a lawful purpose and only with the consent of the individual concerned, obtained through Credfex or lawfully recorded by you.
- You will use verification results solely for the purpose for which consent was granted and will not resell, republish or aggregate them.
- You will pay the fees applicable to your plan for each successful verification.
5. Professional (holder) rights
Holding, viewing and sharing your credentials is free. You may grant and withdraw consent, dispute credential content and export your data from the wallet. Disputes are routed to the issuing employer; Credfex does not itself alter the content of a credential.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Services, including by attempting unauthorised access, submitting false data, circumventing consent, scraping, reverse-engineering, or interfering with the operation or security of the exchange.
7. Fees and payment
Issuance and wallet use are free. Verifier fees are set out in your order form or the pricing published on this website and are payable in accordance with the invoicing terms agreed. Taxes are additional unless stated otherwise.
8. Intellectual property
Credfex and its licensors own the Services, including all software, designs and trademarks. Employers retain ownership of the data they issue. Verifiers receive a limited licence to use verification reports for the consented purpose.
9. Availability and support
We aim for high availability and provide support as described in your plan. Service-level commitments for enterprise customers are set out in their agreements.
10. Disclaimers and liability
A verification result reflects the credential issued by the employer at the time of the request. Credfex does not independently investigate credential content and does not guarantee that a credential is complete for every purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and our aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the fees paid by you in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, unlawful use or security risk. On termination, employers may export their issued data and professionals may export their credentials for a reasonable period.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Gurugram, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction, unless your enterprise agreement provides otherwise.
